“ We visited Teh Manis in Canggu twice during our trip, once for lunch and once for dinner. The restaurant only serves halal food, which is great. For lunch, we arrived a little late (after 2pm), so the nasi campur dishes on display weren’t very fresh anymore. Instead, we ordered one bakso with chicken and one bakso with beef. The portions weren’t large, but just right for us, and both tasted delicious, we left happy and satisfied. Because of that good experience, we decided to come back for dinner. This time we ordered chicken soto and fried noodles with chicken. Unfortunately, the soto soup wasn’t hot enough and didn’t taste as fresh as lunch. On top of that, my fried noodles order was forgotten. I had to wait quite a while and finally ask the staff to follow up. Our table was right in front of the cashier counter, but no one checked on us until I raised it. When they finally followed up with the kitchen, it was clear the order had been missed. We could even hear the cook quickly preparing it after the reminder (the wok sound gave it away). The noodles turned out tasty, but the long delay did drop our mood. That said, the staff handled it gracefully. When my husband went to pay, a gentleman approached us and kindly offered complimentary dessert to take away as an apology for the inconvenience. We really appreciated that thoughtful gesture. Overall, the food was great and the service was generally good, just a small human error during dinner, which can happen anywhere. Because of the nice gesture and tasty food, we still rate Teh Manis 4/5 and will definitely come back. ”

“ Come here just to try the restaurant that opened by famous Indonesian artist Tamara. Food wise not too shout out, if you’re Indonesian, it will rated very low. The only food that nice which rice with rendang, but the portion of the beef too little I guess. Met the artist very friendly and took photos with her. Place wise quiet ok setup with two stories. The bakso it’s ok, but the soup is blends. The bakmie is good it just they’re using the egg noodle instead of normal noodle. ”

“ I loved this place omg. I was feeling so sick and went there asking for a soup with extra water because I wanted to drink it to help my throat a bit. Omg they literally gave me a refill of the soup and didn’t even charge for it. I said no that’s okay no worries and they gave it to me anyway. So lovely and it was also so so so delicious literally 10/10. Also super cheap for the great quality! Very raccomanded. Forgot to take a picture before starting eating but for real it was amazing! ”
